General Job Duties: Performs
specialized clerical duties and
bookkeeping to maintain and
process records, forms and pay-
ments in direct support of depart-
mental programs; answers varied
questions regarding departmental
policies, procedures and serv-
ices. Knowledge of assessment
and taxation laws and statutes
and the ability to explain those
laws and procedures to the pub-
lic. Ability to maintain confidential-
ity of records, specifically Small
Tract Forestland and Veterans Ex-
emption program.
Screening Requirements: High
school diploma or equivalent and
two years experience performing
clerical and bookkeeping work,
preferably including experience
and/or training in the general op-
erations of the particular as-
signed department; or any
satisfactory combination of expe-
rience and training which demon-
strates the knowledge, skill and
ability to perform the above de-
scribed duties. Must have an ac-
ceptable criminal history and
must maintain this qualification at
all times during employment. A
criminal background check will be
conducted on the applicant se-
lected.
Hours & Days: 32 hours per
week – Monday-Thursday 8 am
to 5 pm
