SOUND CHECK WHAT’S PLAYING AROUND THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST from the Tri-Cities stripped and recoated the facade and this spring Brann said the top coat was applied in what he called an older style stucco with the color mixed in the concrete and hand plastered on to the exterior. “We are using more historic versions of colors — muted, stately hues of sandstone and blue,” Brann said. To further bring the facade back to its original look, Brann said all windows are being re- stored to their original size. Cur- rently covered in plywood, he said the glass will be installed in a couple of months. The adjacent storefront fa- cades will be restored to match the historic design and inside, Brann said, the ceilings in the new bar area were moved to their proper height. Brann’s “day job” is running a construction company and his own employees have done much of the work. In the winter of 2021 he said his crew de- molished the concession stand area, the adjacent store fronts, the Green Room and an apart- ment “down to the studs.” “About 75,000 pounds of debris was removed to get back to the building’s framing,” Brann said. In the winter of 2022 Brann said they began structural framing, bringing it up to 21st century codes. JUNE 30 CONCERT On June 30, the band “Jo- seph” returns to the main stage. Brann has acts booked into 2023 and looks forward to getting back to normal, includ- ing continued fundraising and increasing revenue. “We are looking for annual subscribers and businesses who want to be sponsors,” Brann said.
