First Friday art shows open June 3

The June show at Crossroads
is “Field Work,” presented by
Lisa Flowers Ross, Eric Mullis
and Kelly Cox.
The show opens Friday, 5:30-
8 p.m., and includes music by
pianist Garwood Allen and a $25
gift card drawing to Ace Nursery.
“Field Work” features the fi ber
artwork of Flowers Ross and the
sculpture work of Mullis and Cox.
Also, Flowers Ross will host
a free demonstration of her
techniques in crafting her fi ber
artwork at the Baker Heritage Mu-
seum from 2-4 p.m. Friday, June 3.
AKER CITY — Visitors to
local art galleries will fi nd a
wide variety of works this month,
and all will be revealed during the
First Friday art walk on June 3.

ROYAL ARTISAN

Royal Artisan is showing
“Familiar Impressions” featuring
Eli Kerns. A reception starts at
5:30 p.m. and includes a guest
showing of art from the Baker
City Creative Club.
Also, D’Club L’Eveque will play
starting at 5:30 p.m. The music
style is Americana with songs
and entertainment featuring
duets by Debbie Friedman and
John Woodard, who just re-
leased their fourth CD.
CHURCHILL HALL PASS

Baker Art Guild is organizing
a Garden Art Show for Friday,
5-8 p.m., at Churchill School.
Potential off erings include gar-
den sculptures, outdoor paint-
ings, plant stands, bird feeders,
artwork with a garden theme
and more.
