A GRANDE — Art Center
East is bringing back its
5K Art Fun Run on Saturday,
June 25, with both pedestrian
and cycling routes.
Each loop begins and ends at
Art Center East, 1006 Penn Ave.
The event starts at 8 a.m.
Early bird registration, which
ends May 31, is $20 for ACE
members or $25 for nonmem-
bers. Early registration includes
a free T-shirt (available to be
picked up June 15-25 at the
art center). Another option is to
purchase an ACE canvas tote
for $10.
Registration is free for ages
10 and younger.
For those who register
after May 31, the cost is $30
for ACE members or $35 for
nonmembers. A limited number
of T-shirts will be available to
purchase for $10 on the day of
the event.

On June 25, participants can
still register starting at 7 a.m.
Proceeds from the fun run
and cycle will support ACE’s
Youth Scholarship Fund.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Booths along each route will
be stocked with water for all
runners, walkers and cyclists.
Adults will receive raffl e tickets
for a special prize drawing at
the end of the race. Participants
age 18 and younger receive a
stamp at each booth and will
get one free ACE Take & Make
Art Kit per stamp.
ACE’s Youth Scholarship
Fund provides youth up to age
18 with reduced-cost (50%
off ) arts experiences such as
ACE classes, take-home arts
learning kits, music ensembles
and more.
