2022 LEGAL NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED CAPITAL CREDITS
Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) hereby gives notice of UN-
CLAIMED PAYMENTS OF CAPITAL CREDITS.
Pursuant to OTEC bylaws and policy, the names of OTEC Members
entitled to capital credit retirements – who have not yet claimed their
retirements – can be reviewed on the OTEC website at:
www.otec.coop/capital-credits
If you are an OTEC Member and current (or former) consumer of
OTEC, please check the OTEC website and list of Members who
have failed to claim capital credits owed.
Application for re-issuing funds owed may be made at your local
OTEC office or 4005 23rd Street, PO Box 226, Baker City, Oregon
97814. Unless those persons named, or their heirs, claim payment
no later than July 31, 2022, for unclaimed capital credits that have
been available for a period of four years, or December 31, 2017, the
unclaimed funds may be forfeited to the Cooperative. The Board of
Directors has the discretion to contribute all, or a portion, of the for-
feited funds to the Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative Scholarship
Fund to benefit those served by the Cooperative.

Oregon Telephone Corporation is a telecommunications provider
who provides basic and enhanced services within its service territory.
Oregon Telephone Corporation is an Eligible Telecommunications
Carrier and as such, receives support from the Federal Universal

service is available for qualifying low-income customers. The $5.25
federal Lifeline benefit may be applied to either qualifying voice serv-
ices or qualifying broadband services. Lifeline benefits may vary de-
pending on the subscribed service.
Broadband internet access service is available at the following
speeds and rates:
• 30 MBPS - $69.95
• 50 MBPS – $84.95
• 100 MBPS - $94.95
• 500 MBPS - $144.95
• 1 GIG - $195.95

STATEMENT OF NONDISCRIMINATION
Oregon Telephone Corporation is the recipient of Federal financial
assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and is subject

SALE OF MALHEUR NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER
The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) is advertising tim-
ber designated for cutting in the Starr Aspen Stewardship Agree-
ment area on the Blue Mountain Ranger District of the Malheur
National Forest. The general sale location is around 25 miles
south west of John Day, west of Starr Ridge, within: T.15S.,
R.30E. Section 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30; and T.15S., R.29E. Section
25.
The NWTF Starr Aspen Timber Sale contains 93 acres of com-
mercial removal designated using individual tree mark (ITM) with
an estimated total volume of 1621 CCF; this includes estimated
quantities of 1,391 CCF Ponderosa Pine and other coniferous
species of saw timber and 230 Ponderosa Pine biomass CCF.
The National Wild Turkey Federation will receive bids by email
to the following address: kmodlin@nwtf.net no later than June
15th at 5pm pacific standard time. The National Wild Turkey Fed-
eration has the right to reject any and all bids.
Service items include the following: road closures (3 earthen
berms), water bar construction along approximately 6.5 miles of
closed roads, conifer felling into streams and meadows (approx-
imately 655 trees), wood placement into stream channels (0.7
miles). Trees to be felled for the service work are painted yellow.

regarding timber and conditions of sale, sale area map, and in-
