Magazine 5K J OHN DAY — June 25 will be a day focused on fi tness, health and fun with the 15th an- nual Family Fun Day and Grant County Health Fair, plus a 5K fun run. And it all happens at the Grant County Fairgrounds. The day gets going at 7 a.m. with the health fair, which runs until noon. This event is de- signed to promote health aware- ness through education, early detection and prevention. Booth space is also available at Family Fun Day, and these should off er a free activity or game, said Katrina Randleas with Families First, which is sponsor- ing the day. T-shirts will also be available to purchase. Entry is free for ages 18 and younger, or $5 for adults. The 5K starts and ends at the fairgrounds. The route will utilize the city of John Day’s new trail system including Hill Park, the Davis Creek Trail, the Seventh Street Complex and the Pros- pector River Trail.
