through its policies, is informing potential vendors to visit the District
office, website (www.harneyswcd.org) or Facebook pages frequently
for upcoming public improvement projects.
The projects will be posted to the District office/website/Facebook at
least one week prior to award is made and includes solicitations
using Bids, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Competitive Price
Quotes and Competitive Proposals (as described in ORS 279C.400).
Vendors who have signed up to work with the district must agree to
carry a contractor’s license and carry a minimum of $2M in liability
insurance.

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Prairie City,
Grant County, Oregon to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July
1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 will take place June 2, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
at the City Hall in Prairie City. The purpose of the meeting is to re-
ceive the budget message and to receive comment from the public
on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the
Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the
meeting and discuss the proposed budget with the Budget Commit-
tee. A copy of the budget document may be obtained after June 6,

Job Description: Manage operations and day-to-day functions of
the city. Manager will provide service to customers, answer phone
and emails, operate office equipment, create customer statements,
receive payments, compile bank deposits, file and record documents,
manage day-to-day budget, stay current with state and county wide
changes, memorize city code and be able to enforce, act as budget
officer. Other job duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining
city documents, creating public announcements, issuing city permits,
taking minutes at city meetings, drafting legal documents, supply pur-
chaser, facilitate volunteer programs, assist with city golf course, as-
sist with volunteer fire department, represent Seneca in various Grant
County groups and programs. Assist with any maintenance and pub-
lic works issues.

John Day Rural Fire Protection District
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the John Day Rural
Fire Protection District, County of Grant, State of Oregon, to discuss
the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 will be
held in the John Day Fire Hall Community Room, 316 S Canyon
Blvd, John Day, Oregon. The meeting will take place on Wednesday
the 25th of May, 2022 at 12:00 noon. The purpose is to receive the
budget message and to receive comments from the public on the
budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or ob-
tained on or after May 10, 2022 at Solutions CPAs, 101 NE First
Ave, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. This is a public meeting
where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any per-
son may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed budget

Desired Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service and
communication, conflict management and leadership are required
skills. Knowledge of basic office equipment including, but not limited
to; computers, copier, scanner, fax, and phone. Must be computer
savvy, generous knowledge of Windows operating systems and Mi-
crosoft Office suite is a must. Experience with QuickBooks is required
and experience with third-party billing software highly preferred. No-
tary stamp and small waste water system certification, or able to get
them within 3 months of hire, also highly preferred. Grant writing ex-
perience is ideal. Applicant must be self-motivated, organized, good
at multitasking and willing to learn the position without direct training
or supervision. Subject to pre-employment background check and
drug test.
