Job Duties: Performs a variety of
clerical, secretarial, record-keep-
ing, public assistance and other
duties in connection with Justice
Court proceedings. Thorough
knowledge of office procedures
and practices; knowledge of com-

applications, knowledge of office
machines; basic knowledge of
bookkeeping principles; knowl-
edge of and ability to use stan-
dard business English language
skills and standard arithmetic.
Ability to exercise good judgment,

tacts and to maintain effective
working relationships with other
employees; ability to maintain
confidentiality; ability to learn
court procedures, legal proce-
dures, terminologies and applica-
ble laws; have ability to effectively
communicate the same to other
persons, orally or in writing; ability

difficult situations.
Screening Requirements: High
school graduation or equivalent
and two years recent experience
in an office setting performing
clerical duties and working with
the public; or a high school
diploma or equivalent plus one-
year business, professional or
trade school in subjects related to
this classification; or any satisfac-
tory equivalent combination of ex-
perience, education and training
which demonstrates the ability to
perform the work described. Must
have an acceptable criminal his-
tory and must maintain this qual-
ification at all times during
employment. A criminal back-
ground check will be conducted

Job Duties: Works cooperatively
with other members of the de-
partment’s road maintenance
crew. Perform a wide variety of
road maintenance and construc-
tion tasks. Applicants must be
able to read and write, communi-
cate effectively, understand plans
and profiles from approved con-
struction drawings, follow instruc-
tions and work effectively on an
independent basis, or work coop-
eratively, as part of a team. Basic
knowledge of workplace safety
standards, general equipment
maintenance, and radio commu-
nications is preferred.
This position is expected to oper-
ate a variety of road maintenance
and construction equipment in-
cluding pickups, dump trucks,
snowplow, truck/trailer combina-
tions, brooms, loaders, graders,
backhoes and rollers, and use a
variety of hand and power tools.
Screening Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid
Class-A Oregon Commercial Dri-
ver’s License. At least 3 years of
experience is required in general
maintenance and construction
work including use of construc-
tion equipment and tools, equiva-
lent training or satisfactory

Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) hereby gives notice of UN-
CLAIMED PAYMENTS OF CAPITAL CREDITS.
Pursuant to OTEC bylaws and policy, the names of OTEC Members
entitled to capital credit retirements – who have not yet claimed their
retirements – can be reviewed on the OTEC website at:

CONTRACTORS-ELECTRICIANS-PAINTERS-HVAC-FLOORING

Community Connection will be remodeling the interior of its Admin-
istration office at 2802 Adams Avenue in La Grande. Work is
planned for fall/winter 2022/2023. The building permit has already
been secured. Work will include demolition, new walls, storefront
walls, soundproofing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and painting. Com-
munity Connection will act as its own general contractor and is look-
ing for a primary contractor to complete the construction. Electrical,
painting, HVAC, and flooring will be contracted separately.
Community Connection is proud to publicly support and encourage
entrepreneurship throughout northeast Oregon. Businesses classi-
fied as WBE (Women Business Enterprise), DBE (Disadvantaged
