Laser tag nights are set for Dec. 28 and Dec. 30, both from 4-6:30 p.m. at Humbolt El- ementary, 329 N. Humbolt St. in Canyon City. The cost is $2.50 per half hour. Kickball happens Dec. 29 from 4-6:30 p.m., also at Hum- Western Feed, LLC Pendleton, OR 97801 bolt Elementary. The activity is free. These events are examples of adult programs — and family nights — that are being sched- uled by the parks and recre- ation department for 2022, said Kailey Heiple, program manager. Another program on the horizon is youth basketball for children in kindergarten through third grade. It begins Jan. 31 and runs for fi ve weeks. Cost is $50 for in-district (John Day and Canyon City) or $65 for out-of-district (elsewhere in Grant County).
