• The Baker City Kiwanis Club
is bringing the annual trick-or-
treat event back to downtown
Baker City from 4-6 p.m. on
Saturday, Oct. 30. Main Street
will be closed to help the one-
way fl ow of families as children
trick-or-treat at businesses.
The Ison House Bed and
Brew’s second annual Hallow-
een Bash is Saturday, Oct. 30,
starting at 4 p.m. The evening,
for ages 21 and older, includes
food and a costume contest,
plus live music by Trailer Hitch
at 7 p.m. The winner of the cos-
tume contest will be announced
at 9 p.m. There is no cover
charge, and beverages and food
will be available to purchase.
Brave the basement of
Churchill’s Haunted Studios on
Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29
and Oct. 30, from 6:30-9 p.m.,
and Sunday, Oct. 31, from

HUNTINGTON— The Snake
River Sternwheeler Association,
along with Burley Farms and
volunteers from the Huntington
Haunted Forest, are planning
two days of Halloween fun in
the “Land of History, Mystery,
Intrigue and Spooks.” Hours
are 6-10 p.m. Friday and Satur-
day, Oct. 29 and 30. These are
described as family friendly with
no jump scares. Buses will leave
from Lions Park in Huntington.
Costumes are encouraged along
with warm clothes and proper
footwear to walk outdoor trails.
Cost is by donation.
RICHLAND
RICHLAND — Richland’s
trunk-or-treat is set for noon-
3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the
Eagle Valley Grange Community
Park. There will be a chili con-
test (entries must be registered
in the kitchen by 11:45 a.m.), a
costume contest for children,
a variety of games and prizes,
and food at no charge (chili,
hot dogs, chili dogs, chips and
beverages).
SUMPTER
• Rumor has it the Sumpter
Dredge is haunted. See for your-
self on Friday, Oct. 29. Tour the
Haunted Dredge from 7-9 p.m.
The Sumpter Valley Railroad
will be running night trains at
7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct.
29, and daytime runs at 11 a.m.,
12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
on Saturday, Oct. 30. For details

The main street of Sumpter
will be lined with decorated cars
for the annual trunk-or-treat
event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday,

by the Sumpter Dredge to see
