One of the most important ways people focus their energies to get
things done is by giving their time and resources to one of the county’s
many nonprofit organizations.
You hold in your hands the seventh edition of Grant County Giving
Back, a special section of the Blue Mountain Eagle that provides a
forum for these nonprofits, and the businesses that support them, to
educate area residents about what they do – and what they need to do
an even better job of serving the community.
Each year we’ve expanded our list of local nonprofits, and we aim to
keep going until the list is complete. By including every charitable
organization in the county, we hope to shine a light on all the many
ways Grant County residents pitch in to help make this community a
better place for everyone.
We also hope this section will inspire you to give of your own time
and resources (if you’re not doing so already). Take a look at the list of
Grant County nonprofits in this section. We can just about guarantee
you’ll find at least one that speaks to your own interests and values.
Finally, we’d like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the
tireless volunteers and generous businesses who give so much to sup-
port these charitable organizations.
These are the ties that bind a community together and make it feel
like home.
