Age 15 and older. One session; $40 mem- bers, $50 nonmembers. STILL LIFE IN OIL: OIL PAINTING WORKSHOP Thursdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 30; 2-5 p.m. $90 members, $110 nonmem- bers. Oil painting technique class taught by Sarah Bird, for all experience levels. Students will make a small still-life paint- ing from start to fi nish using a traditional 19th-century style of painting. Age 18 and older. Four sessions; $165 members, $200 nonmembers. SENTINELS: STACKED CERAMIC ART Tuesday, Nov. 30, 6-8 p.m. Margaret Sparks Richey teaches how to make ceramic pieces to be stacked into a cheerful, whimsical, personal- ized sculpture, with the help of Margaret Sparks Richey. IMPRESSIONABLE: MOSAIC TRAYS Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 16 and 18; 6-8 p.m. Margaret Sparks Richey leads this introduction to work- ing with clay. Students will use found and meaningful objects to imprint the clay to make small tiles that will be used to create a mosaic tray. Age 18 and older. Two sessions; $65 members, $75 nonmembers.
