Grande, in October. On Oct.
16, a batik watercolor class
runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The
class is open to all skill levels,
ages 12 and older. Cost: is
$85, or $70 for ACE members.
On Oct. 30, Clark will lead
“Painting with Java: Harvest
Moon” from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

MUSEUM GATHERING
UNION — All are invited to
the Union County Museum
Society annual meeting on
Friday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m., in the
Little White Church. In addi-
tion to reports of the season
and brief nonprofit business,
the event will include live tra-
ditional music by the Sheehy
Brothers & Friends. The Little
White Church, across Union’s
Main Street from the museum,
has recently undergone some
improvements.
GAMES RETURN TO
SENIOR CENTER
LA GRANDE — In-person
activities are resuming at the
Union County Senior Center,
1504 N. Albany St., La Grande.
The center is again hosting pi-
nochle games on Tuesdays at
1 p.m. More pinochle oppor-
tunities are offered on Thurs-
days: 12 Aces Pinochle is on
the second and fourth Thurs-
day of the month at 1 p.m.,
and Sassy Senior Pinochle is
on the third Thursday of the
month, also at 1 p.m.
OCTOBER 6�13, 2021
Bingo games are on Tues-
day evening. Doors open at
5 p.m., bingo tickets are sold
beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the
games start at 6 p.m. All are
welcome. Proceeds benefit
Union County senior programs
including Meals on Wheels.
More activities will begin
again soon, according to
the senior center, including
in-person meals on week-
days. For updates, check
the center’s Facebook page.
These activities are open to
the public.
