Eastern Oregon Film Festival
features 52 films over three days

A GRANDE — The East-
ern Oregon Film Festival is
celebrating its 12th year with a
hybrid presentation Oct. 21-23.
The festival will present 52
fi lms over three days, both
in-person and via a virtual
streaming platform. The offi cial
selections, announced Aug. 15,
include 12 feature-length fi lms
and 40 shorts in a variety of
styles, formats, forms and con-
tent. The festival catalog is avail-
able for viewing on the festival
website, www.eofi lmfest.com.
Chris Jennings, festival
director, said selections to note
include Kentucker Audley’s and
Albert Birney’s “Strawberry Man-
sion,” Jim Cummings’ and PJ
McCabe’s “The Beta Test,” and
a fi rst-time feature, “Everything
in the End,” directed by Mylissa
Fitzsimmons.

Jennings said.
Special musical guests for
this year’s event will be Blood
Lemon and Floating Witch’s
Head.
Jennings said there will also
be an update on EOFF Film-
maker’s Fund recipient “Out of
Character” and “their epic battle
to make this fi lm over the course
of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Virtual passes are $55 and
currently available for purchase
on the EOFF website. As of now,
passes for in-person events will
be limited to only offi cial EOFF
members and visiting artists.
Membership levels are:

$5 discount on Liberty Theatre
monthly screening tickets, $2
discount on additional ticket
purchases, discount on festival
merchandise, exclusive access

In-person events may allow
for ticketing at the door come
October, but the EOFF team will
make those decisions the week
