BOOK SALE

sion is by donation, to help pay
for the bands.
WESTON — The Friends of
Weston Library (FOWL) will have
their annual used book sale out-
doors this year.
The event is Saturday, Sept. 25
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the side-
walk in front of the Weston Public
Library, 108 E. Main St. Books and
other items are priced at $1 each.
To streamline the process,
people are asked to bring small
bills, as change is more diffi cult
to manage in the outdoor setting.
At 1 p.m., a bag sale will start with
all books fi tting in a bag costing
only $1.
Those who attend the book
sale are asked to observe current
COVID-19 mandates. For more

BINGO RETURNS TO
WILDHORSE RESORT &
CASINO
MISSION — For a chance to
yell “Bingo!” head to Wildhorse
Resort & Casino — the games
recently returned for players 18
and older. Check the casino’s
website for the current gaming
schedule.
In addition, tickets are on sale
now for the return of the $40,000
Bingo Special. The special
paper-only event is Oct. 23-24
and features 20 games per day.
With limited seating, players are
encouraged to purchase tickets
in advance — they will be sold at
the door, if available.
Also, the poker room at Wild-
horse recently reopened, off er-
ing Omaha and Texas Hold ‘Em
Limit or No-Limit. Tournaments
take place weekly.

burned area in the Wallowa
