Crossroads art show winners announced

BAKER CITY — Crossroads
Carnegie Art Center has an-
nounced the winning works at
the 23rd annual Open Regional
Art Show, which opened Sept. 3.
“This year brought in an
eclectic collection of top tier
pieces from Baker City and the
surrounding areas in a way that
fully displayed the diversity of
personalities within our art com-
munity,” said Alyson Spiering,
art director.
The show is on display at
the center, 2020 Auburn Ave.,
through Sept. 27. It was spon-
sored by Ash Grove Cement.
The guest judge was Em-
ily Somoskey, art professor
at Whitman College in Walla
Walla, Washington.
