What it’s about: A reboot/
sequel of the 1992 horror film
that features a terrifying ghost/
monster with a hook for a hand
and bees as his familiars, who
will appear in the mirror if you
say his name five times.
The kid attractor factor:
Teens may be attracted to
this horror genre.
Good lessons/bad les-
sons: Be careful what you
summon.
Violence: Some incredibly
gory violence and slasher-
style murders.
Language: Some swearing
Sex: An implied sex scene
(no nudity)
Drugs: None
Parents’ advisory: This
is very scary and violent/
bloody. Mature teens only.
