Notice is hereby given that the John Day Planning Commission is
considering the following planning actions:
LAND PARTITION (TYPE III)—LP-21-01:
HOLMSTROM RANCH
Frances Holmstrom/Lisa Mendez, the owner/agent of Holmstrom
Ranch, have applied to create an extension to the Charolais
Heights Subdivision with four new parcels on their property lo-
cated at Map: Tax Lot(s): 13S31E Tax Lot 200 in John Day. This
application also includes a land exchange and right-of-way ded-
ication to the City of John Day of sufficient width to connect the
current Charolais Heights Road south to 7th Street and eventually
to Third Avenue south of the John Day River, with street and bridge
improvements designed to meet current city standards. All pre-
liminary plats shall be reviewed using approval criteria in Section
5-4.3.070 of the Code.

CITY OF JOHN DAY
The City of John Day, the owner/agent of the John Day Airport In-
dustrial Park, has applied to create a land partition on their proper-
ty located at 13S31E27D Tax Lot 2900. This application partitions
Lot 29 (tax lot 2900) into three parcels: proposed Parcel 1 (2.68
acres) behind lots 1-3; proposed Parcel 2 (10.68 acres) behind lots
4-13; and proposed Parcel 3 (39.86 acres) due west of the unim-
proved West Industrial Road. No development is proposed as part
of this land partition. All preliminary plats shall be reviewed using
approval criteria in Section 5-4.3.070 of the Code

Only comments on the relevant approval criteria are considered
relevant evidence. All evidence relied upon by the planning staff
to make this decision is in the public record, available for public
