This position provides support to attorneys in criminal, juvenile
dependency, juvenile delinquency, and general legal matters.
Primary responsibilities of the Legal Assistant role include, but are
not limited to the following:  maintaining absolute confidentiality
around clients’ identity and information; drafting and proofreading
legal correspondence and pleadings; answering phones; opening
and closing legal files; processing discovery; calendaring; other
similar duties as needed.
Please have high school diploma or GED, proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite and able to learn firm software, have excellent verbal
and written communication skills, a good professional demeanor,
proofreading and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical requirements:  ability to sit and use a computer for long
periods of time; able to go up and down stairs; able to lift up to 30
pounds occasionally. ·
