The BC Decks Sale is located within T 18S R 32E sections 1 and
3. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Mal-
heur National Forest, Supervisor’s Office at 10:00 AM local time
on 04/28/2021 for an estimated volume of 125 CCF of Pondero-
sa Pine and other coniferous species sawtimber, and 47 CCF of
Ponderosa Pine and other coniferous species non-saw marked or
otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the
right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a pro-
spectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and
complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale,

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held in Prairie City at City Hall, 133 S.
Bridge Street, on April 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. to address a request
from Phil and Carol Bopp for a Type II Conditional Use Permit.
Mr. and Mrs. Bopp are requesting a conditional use to insert up to
3-4 tiny homes for Airbnb rental and traveling medical personnel
located on 130 Water Alley of the 100 block in Prairie City, Parcel
No. 13S 33E 02CD, Tax Lot 10101. The proposed site location lies
within a designated Commercial-2 Zone and this request is an out-
right use for a Commercial-2 Zone.
The City of Prairie City has no regulation on a tiny home installa-
tion on city lots making this a necessary Conditional Use request.
A copy of the application is available for review at City Hall. The
public is invited to attend the Public Hearing at which testimony re-
garding the proposed use will be received. Written testimony may
be submitted to City Hall, 133 Bridge St., or mailed to P.O. Box
370, Prairie City, OR 97869 up until 5:00 p.m. on April 9th, 2021.

current fiscal year will be held at the John Day Firehall at 316 S Canyon Blvd, John Day,

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Grant County, State
of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1 2021 to
June 30, 2022, will be held at 201 S. Humbolt St., Ste. 280, Can-
yon City, OR 97820. The meeting will take place on April 7, 2021
at 9:00 a.m.
Due to COVID-19, the public is allowed, but seating is limited due
to social distancing requirements. A call in number is available
– dial 541-575-4014, when prompted enter the conference ID of
8357# and PIN 4499#.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and
to receive comment from the public on the budget.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Com-
mittee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and
discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee, or in
the alternative may call in as explained above.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on
or after April 5, 2021 at the Courthouse in the Treasurer’s Office
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
