Grant Weed Control will be applying herbicides on Grant County
Road Right-of-Ways for the purpose of controlling noxious weeds.
This is a reminder to adjacent landowners concerned about herbi-
cide applications that it is your responsibility to initiate a “NO SPRAY”
agreement at the Grant Soil and Water Conservation District office.
Please note that these agreements need to be renewed on a yearly

PUBLIC NOTICE
2.82 ACRES ODOT PROPERTY FOR SALE
The State of Oregon, through the Department of Transportation
(ODOT), is offering for sale to the public an unimproved 2.82 acres
(+/-) parcel located 3.9 miles east of Prairie City along US Highway
26 at approximate mile point 179.48. This parcel is bisected by
Old Bates Road, is irregular shaped and identified as 12S34, Sec
32, Tax Lot 401, Account No. 9090, in Grant County assessment
records.
Sale will be by sealed bid auction with a minimum bid of $1,360.
Sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to: ODOT, Right of Way,
3012 Island Avenue, La Grande, OR 97850. Bids must be received
and receipt acknowledged before 5:00 PM Tuesday, January 26,
2021. Fax bids and late bids will not be accepted. Bids must be
accompanied by a cashier’s check for a deposit of 10% of the bid
amount. The balance of the purchase price will be due on or be-
fore Friday, Febraury 26, 2021. ODOT reserves the right to reject
any or all bids. Property is to be sold “AS IS” and will be subject to
certain special conditions, reservations, restrictions and assess-
ments.

A public hearing on a proposed supplemental budget for Prairie City School District, for
the current fiscal year will be held at Prairie City School Library. The hearing will take
place on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 6:30 PM. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss
the supplemental budget with interested persons. A copy of the supplemental budget
