Program Overview: We are a county fairgrounds located 3 blocks from downtown John Day, we are a community center.
We rent our facility at a discount for health benefits, funerals. We are the longest running fair in the state of Oregon. Our
facility is used for 4-H and FFA events. The fairgrounds is instrumental in the counties Emergency Plan and has been
used in past emergencies.
Mission Statement: The mission of the Grant County Fairgrounds is to provide opportunities in a multipurpose venue to
ensure the citizens of Grant County can participate in a variety of educational, recreational, agricultural, commercial and
social activities.
Vision: Our vision is to be the gathering place for all of Grant County. To support other organizations.
Giving Opportunities: Sponsorship Drive every year, for the Fair and Rodeo. Accepting donations for the remodel of
Keerns Hall.
