NOTICE TO INTERESTED PERSONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Russell Young has filed a Complaint in Equity for Quiet Title in the Circuit
Court for the State of Oregon, County of Grant for real property described as follows:
Land in Block G, City of John Day, situated in the NW1/4NE1/4 Section 26, T.13S, R.31E., W.M.,
Grant County, Oregon, described as follows:
Beginning at 5/8” iron pin at the Northeast Corner of that certain tract of land described as
TRACT I on Deed Records Instrument No. 20140340, said iron pin being N.17º29”18”E., 267.21
feet from the Southwest Corner of the NW1/4NE1/4 of said Section 26; thence along the west line
of that certain tract of land described as TRACT II on said Deed Record Instrument No. 20140340,
S.10º30’56”W., 209.5 feet, more or less, to the north line of that certain tract of land conveyed
to the City of John Day in Deed Book 43, page 152; thence along said north line, West, 26.5 feet,
more or less, to the east line of that tract of land described as
TRACT I on Deed Record Instrument No. 20140340; thence along said east line, N.17º29’18”E,
215.3 feet, more or less to the point of beginning.
Known herein as LAND IN BLOCK G, CITY OF JOHN DAY.
All persons having claims against or interest in the subject property are required to present them by filing
an answer or motion or reply with the court within 30 days of the date of first publication of this notice
along with the required filing fee and serve the undersigned attorneys for the plaintiff at 206 S. Humbolt,
Canyon City, OR 97820, within or the claims may be barred. The first date of publication occurred on
September 30, 2020.

NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
A public hearing of the John Day Urban Renewal Agency will be held October 13, 2020 at 6:30pm at the
John Day Firehall, 316 S Canyon Blvd, John Day, Oregon. Please join my meeting from your computer,

Please note: As ordered by Governor Brown, face masks are required for entrance to the building and social

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss a supplemental budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020.
A summary of the supplmental budget is presented below. A copy of the supplemental budget can be

8:00am and 4:00pm.
