The Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund Advisory Commit-
tee for Grant County Transportation District will hold a public meet-
ing on May 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Due to Executive Order No. 20-12
and Executive Order No. 20-16, this meeting will occur via video and
teleconference, originating at the People Mover Bus Station, 229
NE Dayton Street, John Day, OR. The purpose of the meeting is to
discuss the STIF allocation for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June
30, 2021. Any person may comment during this public meeting to
discuss the use of STIF funds. Questions or comments regarding
the STIF funds must be submitted via email to peoplemover@out-

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Mid County Cem-
etery Maintenance District, County of Grant, State of Oregon, to
discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021
will be held at the Grant County Courthouse, 201 S Humbolt Street,
Canyon City, Oregon. The meeting will take place on the 18th day of
May, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to
receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the bud-
get document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 12th,
2020 by request between the hours of 10am and 2 pm on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays by calling 541-620-1214.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the budget committee
will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss

INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that Prairie City School will receive sealed
Bids for the Bates Building Roof and Ventilation Project in ac-
cordance with the Invitation to Bid, Bid Form, General Conditions,
Specifications and Drawings.
Sealed Bids will be received by mail addressed to STRUX Engineer-
ing LLC, PO Box 324, Prairie City, OR 97869, emailed to levi@strux-
engineering.com, or in person to the Owner’s Representative until
5:00 PM local time on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020. Bids shall be
clearly marked “Bates Building Roof and Ventilation Project.”
The work shall consist of repairs and improvements to the Bates
Building located on campus at the Prairie City School. The work
items include replacement of the roof, addition of foundation venting
and moisture barrier, and repair of mold damage in the crawl space
in accordance with the construction plans and specifications.
Site Visits may be conducted by appointment only by contacting the
Owner’s Representative. Additional access to the site will be pro-
hibited.
The Project Manual may be obtained by contacting the Owner’s
Representative, Levi Voigt of STRUX Engineering at 541.620.8071
or email at levi@struxengineering.com.
Progress for this work can begin immediately after signing of
the contract and must be completed no later than August 1st,
2020. Substantial Completion of the project shall occur no later
than July 24th, 2020.
Bidders shall be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction
Contractors Board (CCB) prior to Bidding on this Contract and each
Bid must contain the Bidder’s CCB Registration Number. Failure to
comply with this requirement shall result in bid rejection.
The SCHOOL may reject any Bid not in compliance with all pre-
scribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and reserves
the right to reject for good cause any or all bids in whole or in part
upon the finding of The SCHOOL that it is in the best interest to do
so, to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights, and to post-
pone the award of the work as necessary for a period of time not to
extend beyond thirty (30) days from the Bid Opening date. Bid prices
quoted shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days from the date
of Bid Opening.
The Grant County Court is seeking proposals from qualified con-
sultants to assist the County in Labor Standards Compliance Ser-
vices required for Heart of Grant County’s Meredith House Do-
mestic Trauma Service Center Design and Construction Project.
This project is being funded with federal grant funds from the Ore-
gon Community Development Block Grant program administered
by the Oregon Business Development Department.
The complete RFQ for Labor Standards Compliance Services
