2019 Prairie city Street Improvements
ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the “2019 Prairie City Street Improvements” will be
received by the City of Prairie City until 2:00 P.M. local time on Sep-
tember 10th, 2019. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the above
time and date at the City Hall, in Prairie City, Oregon.
The point of contact for this procurement will be the Public Works
Director, Chris Camarena or Project Engineer. All questions or is-
sues that may arise regarding bidding, bid award process, or spec-
ifications shall be directed to the Public Works Director or Project
Engineer. The official response to any questions or request will be
through the addendum process outlined in the bid documents. To
request bid packets or examine, contact Sisul Engineering, 158 E.

Proposals shall be clearly marked “Bid for 2019 Prairie City Street
Improvements” along with time and date of bid opening and shall be
delivered before the above hour and date to Prairie City, City Hall,
133 S Bridge St., Prairie City, Oregon or mailed and received before

to the attention of Chris Camarena.
The work consists of the following construction:
Schedule A includes all materials, labor, and equipment
for approximately 55,000 lf of crack sealing asphalt cracks less than
1.5 inches wide and 2100 lf of crack greater than 1.5 inches to be
poly-patched or other approved method.
Schedule B includes all materials, labor, and equipment
for to repair miscellaneous trench cuts and miscellaneous repairs.
Contractor is responsible for saw cutting existing A.C., removal of
existing A.C., excavation as directed and placement of new ¾”-0”
base rock. There is approximately 1800 sq.ft. of repairs in 8 loca-
tions.

575-3777. Any Addenda will be emailed with a conformation cover
sheet to all potential bidders having contract documents.
All proposals shall be made on proposal forms, accompanied by
completed Bidder’s Certification Statements, Bidders Performance
and Payment Bond Statement, First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure
Form (within two hours of bid closing), and accompanied by a bid
bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid to be forfeited to
the Owner in the event of failure of the Contractor to execute the
contract. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and pay-
ment bond will be required to guarantee the faithful performance of
the contract.
The Contract is for public work subject to ORS 279.348 to 279.380.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is in the
public interest to do so, may reject any bid not in compliance with
all bidding procedures and requirements, to postpone the award for
30 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the
contract to the lowest possible bidder.
