Job Duties: Perform work in
the care and custody of inmates
in the Grant County Criminal
Justice Facility. Process indi-
viduals in and out of the facility,
provide meal service and
dispense medicine to inmates,
recordkeeping, housekeeping,
and other daily operations in
and around the facility. May be
required to deal with violent
and combative individuals that
would require considerable
physical effort.
Screening Requirements: 21
years of age or older for legal
qualification. High school grad-
uation or equivalency. Have the
ability to follow written and oral
directions. Possess or ability to
obtain a valid Oregon Driver’s
license and be able to meet
county’s driving standards.
Must be able to pass a written
exam prior to being considered
for the interview process.
Necessary Special Require-
ments: Ability to pass a crimi-
nal background check. Be able
to complete the PRE-CORPAT
physical requirements to per-
form the day to day operations
of the agency.
