workers must have 3 months
of tree fruit experience and
expect to perform tree-fruit
based agricultural work. A
guaranteed wage of $15.03/
hour. Piece rates for apples
$15.03-$28.00 per bin, pears
$22.00-$26.50 per bin, red
cherries $3.50 per 20lb lug,
yellow cherries $6.00 per
20lb Lug. Non-Harvest piece
rate such as weeding, tree
training, painting and pruning
pays $0.02-$0.75. A specif-
ic piece rate/wage informa-
tion for each employer can

State Work Force Agency.
Anticipate a 40hr work week
and a guaranteed 75% of
hours. Free housing avail-
able for workers who cannot
reasonably return to their
residence each day. Tools,

Job Duties: Works coopera-
tively with other members of
the department’s road main-
tenance crew. Perform a wide
variety of road maintenance
and construction tasks. Work
is performed under the direct
supervision of the Road Fore-
man with oversight by the Road
Master.
Screening Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid
Class-A Oregon Commercial
Driver’s License. At least 3
years of experience is required
in general maintenance and
construction work including use
of construction equipment and
tools, equivalent training or sat-
isfactory combination of training
and experience required to per-
form the essential functions of
the job. Applicants must be able
to read and write, communicate
effectively, understand plans
and profiles from approved
construction drawings, follow
instructions and work effectively
on an independent basis, or
work cooperatively, as part of a
team. Basic knowledge of work-
place safety standards, general
equipment maintenance, and
radio communications is pre-
ferred. This position is expected
to operate a variety of road
maintenance and construction
equipment including pickups,
dump trucks, snowplow, truck/
trailer combinations, brooms,
loaders, graders, backhoes
and rollers, and use a variety of
hand and power tools. The ap-
plicant selected will be required
to pass a pre-employment drug
test.
