in the Canyon City Community Hall-
featuring readings, workshops and
vendors.
• Back by popular demand! Live music
by Copper Ridge starting around
9pm.
• People Mover running to get you
home safely. Pick up will be on the 1/2
and Hour in the paved area by the
park.
Saturday, June 8th
• Breakfast at the fire hall in Canyon
City at 7am
• Gold Rush run and walk at 7am
• Parade begins at 11am 2019 Grand
Marshal is Gary Gregg. Registration
begins at 9:30am Humbolt School
parking lot and will end at Grant
Union High School parking lot.
EVENTS STARTING DIRECTLY AFTER
THE CONCLUSION OF THE PARADE:
• History presentations and
reenactments at the Canyon City
Museum at 1pm and 3pm. Tour the
museum all day.
• BBQ by the Ugly Truth in the firehall.
• Hamburgers by the wrestling club.
• Kids activities in the Canyon City Park.
• Bed races and fun street activities
throughout the afternoon.
• Ice cream social at the Episcopal church.
• Frontier Writer’s Rendezvous in the
Canyon City Community Hall-featuring
readings, workshops and vendors.
• Sel’s open
• Simulated gun fight and hanging in
front of Sel’s around 2pm.
• Copper Ridge returns with live music
around 9pm.
• People Mover running to get you
home safely. Pick up will be on the 1/2
and Hour in the paved area by the park.
