Days/Hours: Monday – Friday -

Job Duties: Serve as confiden-
tial administrative assistant to
the Grant County Court and its
members. Prepare documents
and correspondence, schedule
regular and special meetings,
and appointments; organize
and maintain county records
and files. Serve as receptionist
and answer public inquiries in
person and over the phone;
may involve interpretation to
solve problems or answer
questions. Perform a variety
of administrative and clerical
duties to support the coun-
ty’s departments, and county
programs and projects; includes
state and federal reporting.
Requires independent judgment
in the application of county
policies and procedures, includ-
ing Oregon Revised Statutes
associated with public admin-
istration. Review and prepare
various legal documents related
to the County Judge presiding
over Probate Court matters.
Work is performed under the
general supervision of the
County Judge who reviews
work primarily on the basis of
results achieved and compli-
ance with established policies.
Supervision is not normally a
responsibility of positions in this
classification. Work is generally
performed in an office environ-
ment.
Screening Requirements:
High school graduation or
equivalent and three years
experience performing respon-
sible secretarial or related work.
Confidentiality and legal office
and/or government background
preferred; or satisfactory
combination of experience and
training which demonstrates
the knowledge, skills and
abilities required of the position.
Possess or have the ability to
obtain Notarial Commission
through the Oregon Office of
the Secretary of State. Must
have an acceptable criminal
background and must maintain
this qualification at all times
during employment. A crimi-
nal background check will be
performed on the candidate
selected. Mon-Fri - 20 hours
per week; $21.39 per hour plus
county benefits.

Job Duties: Work collaborative-
ly with the Road Department’s
leadership team, and perform
a wide variety of tasks related
to safety, risk management,
and traffic control within the
department. Applicants must
be able to read, write clearly,

and engage in professional,

lated interactions. Knowledge
of workplace safety standards
and record keeping. Thorough
knowledge of the safety policies
and procedures that must be

ment. Operate pickup truck,
radios and other equipment in a
safe, effective, and profession-
al manner. Participate in and
complete safety and competen-
cies training as directed, and
work emergency call-outs as
required. Prior experience with
two-way radio communication
systems and sign repair and
installation is preferred.
Screening Requirements:
Sixty hours of college-level
coursework and two years
of experience in the areas of
safety and hazardous materials,
or an equivalent combination of
education, training and experi-
ence to sufficiently perform the
essential functions of the job as

a valid Oregon Driver’s License
or have the ability to obtain one
within 30 days of hire. A valid
Oregon CDL Driver’s License
is preferred. Ability to prepare
documents with a computer
