The MSWCD will hold its annual meeting on Monday, March 4, 2019
at the Monument Senior Center beginning at 5pm. A review of the
annual report will take place along with other monthly business
items. Unlike previous years, there will be no landowner seminars
(speakers) or meal held in conjunction with the annual meeting. The
landowner seminars are planned to return no later than next year.
Grant Weed Control will be applying herbicides on Grant County
Road Right-of-Ways for the purpose of controlling noxious weeds.
This is a reminder to adjacent landowners concerned about herbi-
cide applications that it is your responsibility to initiate a “NO SPRAY”
agreement at the Grant Soil and Water Conservation District office.
Please note that these agreements need to be renewed on a yearly

Grant County ESD is soliciting sealed bids for a 2011 Ford Fusion
AWD (VIN #3FAHP0CGXBR144879). The vehicle is available for
inspection by appointment at the Grant County ESD, 835 S. Canyon
Blvd, John Day, OR 97845. Minimum bid $5,000.00. Sealed bids
will be accepted until 4:00 PM on March 8, 2019 at the Grant Coun-
ty ESD office at which time they will be publicly opened and read
aloud by the Superintendent. Post marks will not be considered as
meeting deadline. The bid will be awarded to the highest responsive
and responsible bidder. The winning bidder will have until 4:00 PM
on March 15, 2019 to provide payment to the ESD and to remove
surplus property. Payment for the vehicle must be in the form of a
cashier’s check, money order, bank certified check or cash.
