Our mission is to have pets in safe, happy forever homes,
and to promote spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation.
We offer a voucher program to help pet owners afford to spay/neuter their pets –
Just schedule an appointment at John Day River Veterinary Center, and ask for the
Hope4Paws voucher when you come in for your appointment.
We are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to helping pets
in Grant County, which has no animal shelter or animal control agency.
Our volunteers:
• Rescue, foster and find homes for stray and
abandoned dogs and cats.
• Partner with local veterinarians to save adoptable
pets injured or surrendered for euthanasia.
• Transport adoptable pets to partner agencies in
larger population areas where adoption is more
likely.
• Help pay for spay and neuter of owned pets
through our voucher program.
• Conduct trap-neuter-return to control feral cat
colonies, as funds and volunteer resources allow,
and offer pet food assistance.
FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
Spay-ghetti Dinner, Concession stand at 7th Street
Complex and Tree of Hope at Pioneer Feed.
Watch for a chance to get your pet’s photo with
Santa Paws in December!
