Sealed Bids
The City of Mt. Vernon will be accepting sealed bids until 4:00 p.m.
October 5, 2018, for various pieces of used playground equipment.
Including, a spring action teeter totter, slide and swing set combo, ‘s’
shaped monkey bars, dome climber and merry-go-round. The play-
ground equipment is being sold as is. The items will be bid on sep-
arately and the outside of the envelopes must specify which piece
of equipment is being bid on. The Bids will be opened and reviewed
by the City Council on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the City’s regular
Council Meeting. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any
or all bids. Bids may be mailed to the City of Mt. Vernon at PO Box
647 Mt. Vernon, OR 97865 or they can be dropped off at City Hall
located at 199 W. Main St. Mt. Vernon, OR during regular business
hours. The playground equipment may be viewed at the City Shop
located at 472 Council Dr. Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 3:30

2018 Unclaimed Capital Credits
Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) hereby gives notice of
UNCLAIMED PAYMENTS OF CAPITAL CREDITS OWED TO THE
NAMED PERSONS ON RECORD. Such unclaimed capital credits
have been available to OTEC Members since December 31, 2014.
Pursuant to OTEC bylaws and policy, the names of OTEC Members
entitled to capital credit refunds – who have not yet claimed their
refunds – can be reviewed on the OTEC website at: www.otecc.com/
members/unclaimed-capital-credit.
If you are an OTEC Member and current (or former) consumer of
OTEC, please check the OTEC website and list of Members who
have failed to claim capital credits owed.
Application for re-issuing funds owed may be made at your local
OTEC office or 4005 23rd Street, PO Box 226, Baker City, Oregon
97814. Unless those persons named, or their heirs claim payment
no later than January 1, 2019, the unclaimed funds will be forfeited
to the Cooperative or, where required, forwarded to the Department
of State Lands. Historically, the Board of Directors has contributed
the amount of the forfeited funds to the Oregon Trail Electric Coop-
erative scholarship fund or other charitable causes to benefit those
served by the Cooperative.
