sons, grocery budgeting and
menu planning at the local meal
site. Supervise and delegate
duties to kitchen staff and
volunteers, prepare an at-
tractive and appetizing meal
on time, prepare menus with
site committee at least one (1)
month in advance, and attend
in-service training meetings.
Responsible for cleaning and
maintaining sanitary require-
ments for kitchen and equip-
ment and to work with local site
committees on suggestions,
changes and ideas for meals.
Screening Requirements:
Knowledge and experience
in quantity food preparation
and ability to communicate
effectively both verbally and in
writing, and to work coopera-
tively with co-workers and the
senior citizen community. Pos-
sess a current Food Handler’s
Certificate.
Days & Hours: Tuesday &
Wednesday mornings – 5 hours
per day
