Genealogical Society’s summer
“Find a Treasure” yard sale! The
sale is Saturday, June 23, at the
Grant County Chamber of Com-
merce parking lot, 301 W. Main
St. in John Day, weather permit-
ting. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m. Lots of items: Collectibles,
small appliances, kitchenware,
linens, hair accessories, lamps,
knickknacks, books, games,
cups, vases, glassware, craft
items, fabric, dolls, summer
porch chairs, picture frames,
stuffed animals, toys and dish-
es, plus much, much more.
Proceeds are used for geneal-
ogy programs and workshops

for operating expenses to keep
