Cold, wet weather damp-
ened prospects at the annual
’62 Days in Canyon City June
9.
After drizzling much of the
morning, the rain and wind
picked up and many of the
vendors had packed up and left
by 1 p.m.
The mock hanging was
postponed, and the bed races
were canceled.
But the rain didn’t damp-
en the spirits of a variety of
parade-goers. Here are the re-
