temporary outdoor agricultur-
al positions in Yakima, Grant
and Okanogan counties in
the state of Washington.
Qualified workers must have
3 months of tree fruit expe-
rience and must be legally
authorized to work in the
United States. Workers will
hand harvest apples, cher-
ries, apricots, nectarines and
pears and perform related
tree-fruit based agricultural
work at a guaranteed wage
of $14.12/hr. Piece rates for
apples is between $20-28/
bin, for cherries it would be
$6.00 per 20 or 30-pound
lug depending on the variety
and for pears between
$21-$23/bin. Specific piece
rate wage information can
be obtained from your local
State Work Force Agency.
Anticipate a 40 hr. work week
and 75% of hours guaran-
teed. Free housing available
for workers who cannot
reasonably return to their
residence each day. Tools,
supplies and equipment will
be provided at no cost to the
worker. Transportation and
subsistence expanses to the
worksite will be provided by
the employer upon comple-
tion of 50% of the contract.
