Technician I position. Must

and outreach assistance, solicit
landowner conservation pro-
gram participation, understand
project installation require-
ments, conduct onsite inspec-
tions, create ArcGIS maps/
layouts, experience in collecting
field data. Have ability to work
independently and as part of a
team, have good computer and
communication skills. Grant
writing skills preferred. Must
possess a valid driver’s license.
Salary range is $30,000 -
$40,000 DOE. This is a regular
full-time position, 40 hrs per
week, with benefits as defined
in the district personnel policy.

Job Title: Special Investigator
Days and Hours: Varies –
Maximum 40 hours per month
Salary: Depending on experi-
ence with no county benefits
Job Duties: Perform follow up
interviews and/or investigations
pertaining to cases involving
domestic violence, dating
violence, sexual assault, child
sexual abuse and stalking.
This position will also present
training to law enforcement
agencies and community part-
ners regarding these types of
cases. The Special Investigator
will work under the direct super-
vision of the District Attorney
and Deputy District Attorney.
Must be available to respond on
scene, upon law enforcement
request for investigations relat-
ing to sexual assault, domestic
violence, dating violence, and
stalking crime per DA or DDA’s
authorization. Occasional out of
state travel to attend trainings is
required.
Screening Requirements:
Applicant must have a High
School Diploma and/or College
Credits which have provided
him/her with a satisfactory
combination of experience and
training which demonstrates
the knowledge, skills and
abilities to perform all of the
duties of the position. Possess
or have the ability to obtain a
valid Oregon Driver’s License.
Prior experience working with
victims of domestic violence,
dating violence, sexual assault,
child sex abuse and stalking,
and a thorough knowledge of
dynamics of domestic violence
and victimization and comple-
tion of Basic Training at DPSST
or Criminal Justice Training is
preferred.
