Senior Network and System
Administrator/Analyst
Oregon Trail Electric Coopera-
tive (OTEC), has an immediate
opening for a Senior Network
and System Administrator/Ana-
lyst to be based at headquarters
in Baker City, Oregon.
This salaried exempt position
provides technical leadership
over the enterprise computing
environment which includes de-
signing, engineering, installing,
configuring, maintaining and
supporting enterprise computer
networks, hardware, software
and mobile devices. The per-
son in this position will develop
innovative technical solutions
to enhance productivity for the
organization and cultivate and
maintain an in-depth knowledge
of current and emerging com-
puter and information technolo-
gies.
Applicants must have a Bach-
elor’s Degree in Computer Sci-
ence or related technical disci-
pline or five years of technical
experience supporting an en-
terprise computer environment.
Applicants should have experi-
ence installing, operating, and
maintaining hardware and op-
erating systems including virtual
environments and experience
with Windows operating system
imaging, build, deployment, and
lifecycle management. Experi-
ence with LAN/WANs, network
planning, and the administration
of routers, switches, firewalls,
and VPNs is required. The
successful candidate will have
knowledge of the components of
a security infrastructure includ-
ing domain controllers, securi-
ty applications, and anti-virus.
Problem solving and research
skills are required as well as the
ability to communicate clearly
and precisely with fellow em-
ployees. CISCO and Microsoft
certifications are a plus.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Purpose: This position is re-
sponsible for effectively oper-
ating the plant equipment to
ensure the quality and quan-
tity of ethanol fuel production
is optimized.
Environment: Pacific Eth-
anol is the leading producer
and marketer of low-carbon
renewable fuels in the west-
ern United States. With the
addition of four Midwestern
ethanol plants in July of 2015,
we have expanded our op-
erations and sales footprint,
more than doubling our scale,
entering new markets, and

the production and market-
ing of low-carbon renewable
fuels.
Essential Duties and Re-
sponsibilities:
Operates
equipment to achieve opti-
mal performance; Adjusts
equipment settings to ensure
the ethanol produced meets
quality and quantity expec-
tations; Inspects and main-
tains the equipment to ensure
proper processing; Inspects
the quality and of the product
and documents the result at
certain intervals of the pro-
duction process; Completes
daily shift production logs;
Coordinates with lab techni-
cians to ensure product qual-
ity; Investigates monitors and
reports deviations from pro-
duction standards.
