PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
In Accordance with OAR 695-045-0185 and ORS 271.735. OWEB
Land Acquisition Grant Program, concerning approximately 6,785
acres in the vicinity of Mitchell,
Grant Application No. 218-9906-15909. The Oregon Watershed En-
hancement Board (OWEB) is a state agency that provides grants to
help Oregonians take care of local streams, rivers, wetlands, and
natural areas.
OWEB is considering a grant of funds to Blue Mountain Land Trust
for the purpose of purchasing certain property rights on approximate-
ly 6,785 acres in the vicinity of Mitchell, in Wheeler County, under
Grant Application No. 218-9906-15909. OWEB will hold a conserva-
tion easement or third party rights of enforcement in a conservation
easement, if the property rights are purchased with OWEB funds.
