Overview: The Corner Cup builds community in a coffee
shop atmosphere, with the purpose of encouraging and raising
a generation that embraces creativity and personal growth. By
offering opportunities for social awareness, we’re contributing
to the community of John Day, while providing a gathering
place for people of all ages.
We are open to 8pm Monday thru Saturday, offering a social,
alcohol-free evening venue where patrons can enjoy speakers
addressing cultural and social issues, coffee tasting from
different parts of the world, and receptions and displays from
hosted artists.
Giving Opportunities: The Corner Cup welcomes all
donations to support our mission statement and vision for our
community. Examples of suggested donations include:
propane for our fire pits (a priority), artist reception
refreshments, sponsoring a speaker or event, volunteering to
help with future mentoring programs and helping with minor
repair projects.
