JOHN DAY CANYON CITY
Parks & Recreation District
Established in 1989
O ur Goal as a team for the Parks and Recreation District is to provide a gateway for
sports activities, swimming, hiking, walking, fishing, photography and picnics.
We strive to maintain a beautifully landscaped park for families and friends to enjoy.
The programs we provide the community to our youth and adults
are to help establish fundamental skills and learning for all ages,
and of course FUN. We are looking for, and developing
new/innovative ideas for programs to our community.
Volunteers are huge part of the success of 7th Street Complex and our Parks and Recreation District.
Our volunteers help with field maintenance, building projects, landscaping, along with sports coaches and refs.
