The John Day City Council will meet in executive session
on August 8, 2017 at 6PM at the John Day Fire Hall (316 S.
Canyon Boulevard, John Day, OR) to review and discuss
confidential attorney-client privileged communications. This
executive session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(i),
which permits the council to meet in executive session to
review and evaluate the employment-related performance
of the chief executive officer of any public body, a public
officer, employee or staff member who does not request an
open hearing.

MALHEUR NATIONAL FOREST
The Hop DxPre Sale is located within T17SR29E Sec
15,22,23,27,33,34,35,36; T18R29E sec 2,3,4,5,8,9.
The Forest Service will receive sealed and oral bids in
public at Malheur National Forest, Supervisor’s Office
at 10:00 AM local time on 08/30/2017 for an estimated
volume of 1543 ton of Douglas-fir sawtimber, 1330 ton of
Lodgepole Pine sawtimber, 6863 ton of Ponderosa Pine
and Other Coniferous Species sawtimber, 5423 ton of
White Fir sawtimber, 89 ton of Douglas-fir non-saw, 123
ton of Lodgepole Pine non-saw, 340 ton of Ponderosa
Pine and Other Coniferous Species non-saw, 154 ton of
White Fir non-saw, and 2360 ton of Ponderosa Pine and
Other Coniferous Species grn bio cv marked or otherwise
designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right
