2. Duos and/or groups must enter
the state contest in the same di-
vision they entered at the county
level.
3. Participants can only enter
ONE county talent contest in ONE
division.
4. Must be amateurs (never previ-
ously paid for a performance).
5. Previous first-place winners of
the Statewide Talent Contest may
not compete in the Statewide
Talent Contest for two years after
their win.

mance is not allowed.
9. An individual will only be
allowed to enter one talent show
in one category; for example, an
individual may enter the individu-
al category, but cannot enter as a
member of a group.
10. Selections must be appropri-
ate for family audiences. Abso-
lutely no profanity or sexually
explicit material.
11. Performances must not ex-
ceed five minutes.
12. First-place winners in each
division are eligible to represent
Grant County at the Oregon Fairs
Talent Search Finals which are
scheduled for August 28, 2016 on
center stage at the Oregon State
Fairgrounds. Children’s Division
(ages 5 -9) at 10 a.m., Youth Divi-
sion (ages 10 - 17) at 1 p.m. and
Adult Division (18+) at 4 p.m.
13. Winners must decide the
night of the competition if they
will be attending the state fair
competition. If for any reason,
the first-place winner in
any division is not able or willing
to attend the state competition,
the second-place winner is eligi-
ble to compete in their place.

ly members will not be allowed to
assist with the judging or tabula-
tion.
15. Participants must behave in
a professional and civil manner
at all times while at the competi-
tion. Backbiting, rude remarks or
unsportsmanlike conduct toward
the master of ceremonies, judges,
audience members, sound engi-
neers, talent show coordinator,
fellow competitors or any other
talent show official will not be
tolerated.
16. Any violation of these rules
will result in the immediate dis-
qualification of the participant
with any titles awarded being
revoked.
17. Any participant wishing to
contest judging decisions must do
so through the Grant County Fair
Board.

contest of his/her choice OR, rein-
stated this year, if they have not
entered into any Oregon county
competition since they may enter
directly into the Preliminaries
held at the State Fair.
