The Grant County Genealogical Society
Summer “Find a Treasure” yard sale is
Saturday, June 24, at the Grant County
Chamber of Commerce parking lot,
301 W. Main, John Day. Hours are
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lots of items:
vintage collectibles, kitchenware, linens,
knickknacks, books, video tapes, CDs,
audio tapes, cups, glasses, vases,
glassware, craft items, fabric, dolls,
loveseat hide-a-bed and matching rocker,
camping items, fishing pole, lamps,
blankets, computer desk, exercise bike,
end tables, peach blossom dishes by
PoppyTrail, DressMaker sewing machine,
plus much, much more. Proceeds are
used for Genealogy programs and
workships sponsored by the Society and
for operating expenses to keep the library
open for public use on Thursdays
(1-4 p.m.), Fridays (1-4 p.m.) and
Saturdays (10 a.m.-2 p.m.). The
Genealogical Library/Research Center is
located at 281 W. Main in John Day.
