Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 3-1-6
of the City Code that requires Business Licenses for doing
business in the City of John Day for the period of July 1,
2017 through June 30, 2018, are due for renewal on or
before July 1, 2017. Notices will be sent out June 1, 2017 to
businesses licensed last year. The Business License can be
renewed at City Hall, 450 E. Main, during the hours of 8:00
AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays).

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A pubic meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of
Prairie City, Grant County, Oregon, to discuss the budget
for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will be held
at City Hall in Prairie City, 133 S. Bridge St, Prairie City,
Oregon. The meeting will take place on Tuesday the 30th
day of May, 2017 at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is
to hear the budget message and receive public comment
on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation
of the budget committee will take place. Any person may
appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs
with the budget committee. A copy of the budget document
may be inspected or obtained on or after May 23rd, 2017 at
