The Town of Canyon City is going to surplus a City lot on
South Clark Street. The lot is Lot 7 of Block C of the First
Amendment to the Town of Canyon City found in Book 2
of Town Plats on record at the County Clerk’s Office (Also
known as the city sand lot). The lot is zoned Commercial
and may be used as outlined in the Commercial zoning
Code. Sealed bids are being accepted until 4:00 pm on May
12th. The minimum bid is $10,000.00. A Bid form can be
picked up at City Hall.

A Public Hearing will be held in Prairie City before the City
Council at City Hall, 133 Bridge Street, on May 17, 2017
at 6:00 p.m to address a request from Loren E. Bebb for
a Type II Conditional Use Permit. Mr. Bebb is requesting a
conditional use to erect a 200’ cell tower on a portion of his
property located at Tenth Street and Hall Avenue in Prairie
