A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Blue
Mountain Hospital District, Grant, State of Oregon, to
discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June
30, 2018, will be held at Blue Mountain Hospital, 170 Ford
Road, John Day, OR. The meeting will take place on April
20, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to
receive the budget message and to receive comment from
the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where
deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.
Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the
proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of
the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or
after June 16, 2017 at Blue Mountain Hospital, between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Department of State Lands is offering to lease nine
separate parcels of rangeland in Wheeler County. The
parcels are un-watered, and may be partially fenced and
included with adjacent private ownership. A separate
application form must be submitted for each parcel.

Creek on Hwy 207, and 1.8 miles west of Hwy 207.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Canyon City will hold a Public Hearing to
discuss the sale of a surplus property on Clark Street. The
hearing will be held April 18th at the regular Council Meeting
at the Community Hall at 5:30 pm. The lot is Lot 7 of Block
C of the First Amendment to the Town of Canyon City found
in Book 2 of Town Plats on record at the County Clerk’s
Office (Also known as the city sand lot). The lot is zoned
Commercial and may be used as outlined in the Commercial
zoning Code. The city no longer needs the lot for sand
storage and believes it would be best if put to use and
returned to the tax rolls.

The Mid-County Cemetery Maintenance District is accepting
sealed bids for the maintenance, upkeep and administrative
duties for the following cemeteries: Canyon City, St.
Andrews, Restlawn, Moon Creek, Sweek/Weberg, Blanton/
Keller/Stratton, and Helmick for the period June 1, 2017,
through May 31, 2022. The work also includes maintaining
