Grant Weed Control will be applying herbicides on Grant
County Road Right-of-Ways for the purpose of controlling
noxious weeds. This is a reminder to adjacent landowners
concerned about herbicide applications that it is your
responsibility to initiate a “NO SPRAY” agreement at the
Grant Soil and Water Conservation District office. Please
note that these agreements need to be renewed on a yearly

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Grant
County, Grant, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for
the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018, will be held
at County Courtroom, 201 S. Humbolt, Canyon City. The
meeting will take place on 3-9-17 at 10:00 a.m. The purpose
of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to
receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a
public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee
will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and
discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or
obtained on or after 3-6-17 at the Treasurer’s office between
the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
