Proposed Sale of City Real Property
Pursuant to ORS 221.725, the John Day City Council will
hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 7:00
p.m. in the John Day City Council Chambers, 450 East Main
Street, John Day, Oregon 97845, to discuss the proposed
sale of certain real property located at 209 SE Dayton
Street, John Day, Oregon 97845 commonly known as the
“Old Fire Station” as more particularly described below (the

The City of John Day (“City”) desires to sell the Property
to Larry A. Maplesden (“Maplesden”). Maplesden intends
to use the Property for Hutch’s Printing, a print and office
