Mitigation Plan Technical Assistance Steering Committee will

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
In Accordance with OAR 695-045-0185 and ORS 271.735.
OWEB Land Acquisition Grant Program, concerning
approximately 6785 acres in the vicinity of the City of
Mitchell, Grant Application No. 217-9903. The Oregon
Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) is a state agency
that provides grants to help Oregonians take care of local
streams, rivers, wetlands, and natural areas.
OWEB is considering a grant of funds to Northwest
Rangelands Trust for the purpose of purchasing certain
property rights on approximately 6785 acres in the vicinity
of the City of Mitchell, in Wheeler County, under Grant
Application No. 217-9903. OWEB will hold a conservation
easement, or third party rights of enforcement in a
conservation easement, if the property rights are purchased
with OWEB funds.
OWEB will hold a public hearing for the purpose of providing
interested parties with a meaningful opportunity to comment
on the OWEB grant application. Questions or comments
about the grant application, or public hearing, are to be
directed to the OWEB representative identified below.
Requests for special accommodations in order to participate
in the public hearing must be made at least seven (7) days
prior to the hearing. Written comments concerning the grant
application must be received by OWEB on or before January
9, 2017.
